 +An elevated, solid, superficial [[skin]] lesion more than .5cm in diameter. A plaque differs from a nodule in it's height. A plaque tends to be flattened and a nodule is a "​bump"​. Also, a plaque may have an appearance like that of cobblestone. Also Known As: Eczema, discoid [[lupus]] erythematosis,​ lichen planus, paget'​s disease, pityriasis, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, tinea corporis, tinea versicolor.
