 + A common superficial bacterial [[infection]] caused by [[staphylococcus_aureus]] aureus or group A betahemolytic [[streptococcus|streptococci]]. Characteristics include thin, fragile vesicles and bullae which evolve pustules that rupture and discharge a thin, ambercolored fluid that dries and forms a honey-colored crust. This condition is most often seen in children and is located on the face, especially about the mouth and nose.
