 + A [[leukocyte]] that has granules in its cytoplasm. A type of [[glossary:​white blood cells|white Blood cell]] that attacks and destroys foreign substances. These are [[glossary:​leukocyte|leukocytes]] which have specific granules. The three different types of [[glossary:​granulocyte|granulocytes]] have different types of specific granules. Granulocytes are spherical in shape, contain nuclei and include [[glossary:​neutrophil|neutrophils]],​ [[glossary:​eosinophil|eosinophils]],​ and [[glossary:​basophil|basophils]]. These cells are part of the formed elements of whole [[Blood]]. ​
